The Norwegians arrive at CamJam
The Sykkylven Speidargruppe, from Norway have travelled a long way around to get here to CamJam.
With 52 Scouts, Explorers and Leaders leaving last Saturday at Midnight they mounted a bus and drove to the capital city Oslo and then took a ferry all the way to Germany. From Germany they then had to drive through Germany into Holland where they then took another ferry to England. Once arriving they camped at Brentwood in Essex for a few days where they took parts in lots of activities and also visited London. Georg one of the Norweigan Scouts told me, in perfect English, how he had enjoyed visiting Madam Tussauds and seeing the wax work of Harry Potter as well as seeing the crown jewels in the Tower of London.
