Ghana Wake Up Call

Border control on the Sweden and Thialand border were entertained early this morning while our friends from Ghana performed for BBC radio Cambridgeshire, with a medley of singing whilst accompanied by drums and hand percussion intruments.

The 20 minute performance certainly entertained Jonny Dee, the BBC reporter, who was spotted dancing along and playing the drums after the interviews vere finished.  Jonny was overwhealmed by the fact that approximatley 20,000 rashers of Bacon will be cooked over the weekend.

The Ghana contingent are staying with 1st Hardwick & Highfields Scout Group on Thialand.  This new friendship was formed when Mel took part in Project Meridian in 2008, a CaSE project building a Community Centre in Hohoe, in the Volta Region of Ghana
