Ghanaian LinksMel Grenfell and William Day from 1st Hardwick and Highfields on Thailand sub camp are camping with the scouts from Ghana. Mel went out to Ghana in 2008 to help on Project Meridian 08 with other scouts and leaders from Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire for a month.

It's a KnockoutCamJam participants also had the chance to take part in any fantastic, challenging and most definitely wet It’s a Knock-Out competition.
Opening CeremonyAs the CamJam 2011 Opening Ceremony begun, hordes of Scouts and Guides from the Sub-camps came in dressed smartly, for the most part, in full uniform. They all trundled in waving flags and chanting their songs. In sincere respect for the terror attack in Norway the entire crowd fell silent for a 1 minute silence. Not a soul could be heard which really shone through the compassion of Scouting.
Mascot DerbyThe Mascot Derby was a chaotic, energitic and fun race of 60 sub camp mascots and Costumes in a head to head race around the gruelling course designed by Ely SASU.

The Germans arrive at CamJamA group of German Scouts named Las Casas Liblar from Cologne have also joined us for CamJam. With a short 7 hour journey from Cologne to the Kimbolton campsite in Cambridgeshire they’ve already spent a week here with their host Scout Group taking part in many activities.

Black Ivy took the stage on Monday night to perform some of their very own alternative rock music including songs about broken hearts and an emotional song for those dying in war.
Amy Woods gave a daring performance Sunday night powerfully singing along to some well know tracks.
Border control on the Sweden and Thialand border were entertained early this morning while our friends from Ghana performed for BBC radio Cambridgeshire, with a medley of singing whilst accompanied by drums and hand percussion intruments.
