I joined the Scout movement at the age of 8 as a cub and worked my way through all sections. At the age of 18 after achieving my Queens Scout and Gold D of E I became a leader. Since then I have held most positions at both Group and District level and was for 7 plus years DC for March and District, then the DC for Fenland when it amalgamated with Wisbech and District for 2 years. I then became DCC and CTM for Cambridgeshire 6 Years ago. I have done scouting in many parts of the county. I am also actively involved with the British Red Cross and carry out First Aid Training for them as a Trainer.
This will be my third CamJam; my first was with First Aid 1996, Second was a Leader Sub Camp Leader 2002 and 2006 Sub Camps Leader (Core Team) and Leaders Sub Camp. This time around I will repeat 2006. |
